FIXINGS WITH SEISMIC CERTIFICATION AND ALUMINIUM SUBSTRUCTURES FOR THE BUILDING ENVELOPE
In order to contribute to the fight against climate change and its consequences on the ecosystem, it is of fundamental importance to intervene on the energy efficiency of residential buildings. To achieve this, the insulation of the building envelope must be not only energy efficient, but must also be earthquake safe.
Thanks to the funding received from MISE (Ministry of Economic Development) as part of the ENEA-MISE 2019-21 Program Agreement for the Research of Electric Systems, the ENEA researchers at the Seismic Hall of the ENEA Research Center in Casaccia carried out an experimental test campaign on a vibrating table to test different modular facade solutions (Off-Site Construction) suitable to be installed for the restoration of existing buildings.
FRIULSIDER-ETANCO ITALIA contributed to the project by providing FM-753 CRACK INOX A4 heavy duty anchors with seismic certification C1 + C2, KEM HYBRID chemical anchors with seismic certification C1 + C2 and the FACALU aluminium substructures for supporting the panels of ventilated facades.
